A public acknowledgement, whether he wants it or not:
Thanks, friend. When I finish funding that dedicated .22LR upper, I think I shall call it the TomareUtsuZo Special.

Aww shucks, Ma’am. *laughs* I guess that I should have used my other email addy. ;) Actually, I have to laugh pretty hard about this; ‘Tomare Utsu Zo’ comes from my days as a sailor stationed in Japan (ah the days of yore …). It means, ‘Stop or I’ll Shoot!’ So, naming your ?rifle? after my handle is great fun.
Anyway, it has been my pleasure to contribute. I have adored your blog for a couple years now and was particularly impressed by you sending a note back to me for sending you a note during the sad Annie situation, that is something people with class do. People like you and your family should be supported, and I am lucky enough to be able to do such things from time to time.
Merry Christmas.
