PMag Deal:

Palmetto State Armory has mondo cheapo prices on PMags right now – $8.95 non-windowed, $9.95 windowed.

Way cheap CProducts mags, too – aluminum and steel.

Website says if it lets you order, they have it in stock, so get ‘em while they’re hot.

Shipping is a flat $7/order for orders under $200, free shipping over that.

I have never ordered from this company, so I cannot speak to their customer service. If anyone has experience with them and wants to weigh in, please comment!

I ordered a couple last night, so we’ll see how it goes.

The company is well-reviewed on Arfcom, according to a buddy. Good luck! I’d snag more myself but we’re pretty solid in the mag department, for once. :)

I really didn’t need more either, just couldn’t resist a good deal. I’ve been wanting some plastic mags for awhile. I have almost 30 GI mags, though, so I really didn’t need them.

I’ve ordered from them before without problems.

How are C-Products AR mags? Decent?

I’ve got probably 15 PMAGS and a couple USGI mags, but it can never hurt to have a few more :)

I have a stash of aluminum, 30rd CProducts mags with the self-leveling followers and chrome silicone springs. They’re good, and – according to The Inconvenience – light years better than standard USGI.

As a matter of personal preference, I prefer PMags. But I do have a, um, stockpile of both.

Mike W. – are you talking about the BetaCo C-mags? The $265 mags? NFWIH (haha, you can figure out what that acronym means) would I buy a mag that is 1/4 the price of my AR, no matter how many rounds it holds. Wait, I just found the mags that you mean. I guess obviously I can’t speak as to their quality, so I guess I can’t answer. Let me know, though, because I’ve been wanting to get a 5 round mag for at the range.

I think I have enough mags for zombie armageddon — now if only I could find enough rounds of something other than Wolf to put in it.

I just got my pmags in about 30 minutes ago. Seem really nice. I have absolutely no experience with any AR mags other than USGI. I love the feel of the pmag though. It feels great. Rounds load very smoothly. No issues with the rounds being too far forward, and needing to be tapped back like in USGI mag. Now I can’t wait to shoot it. I wish they had these when I was in!
