To be fair, Clay Jenkinson (historian behind TJ on the show) didn’t even know what Klingon *was,* and I think he was slightly mortified the 35 words had been translated into Klingon before, say, French.

Klingon? I guess it makes sense that constitutionalists overlap heavily with Trekkies: that’s why we call them “Ronulans”.
