The Inconvenience is on a roll this week!

The Inconvenience attended a lecture at the lawsmithery** today. The presenter asked for examples of ways in which minorities have been targeted by the legal system. Nobody volunteered anything. The Inconvenience finally raised his hand and said, “How about how firearms restrictions largely began with restricting the rights of blacks to carry, impeding their ability to defend themselves in a time when they were frequently targeted as victims of racial violence?”

*collective liberal blink-blink-stare*

Apparently, the lecturer replied, “Uh, I, uh, have never heard of that. Um, anyone else?”

Really? Two PhDs and lecturing on race issues, and you don’t know minorities were the first victims of gun control? Academia fail.

**Jargon note: The Inconvenience insists he’s studying to become a lawsmith, not a lawyer. Thus, the law school is the lawsmithery. And the law library is the lawbrary.

Yeah, there’s a reason why the Black Panthers always marched through the streets carrying rifles. Even Malcolm X was all for the Second Amendment.

Stick that in your white liberal pipes and smoke it.

Wait are you telling us that PHD that works in academia does not know a major part about the subject that he is talking about? I am SHOCKED i say SHOCKED!

So did The Inconvenience have sources ready to cite? The reason I ask is that Academics love nothing more than to silence dissent by trying to show that dissenters are little more than kooks with no reputable sources to back their position.

It is rather convenient for that professor’s world view to have never heard of the reasons behind the first gun control laws. I’m going to go ahead and assume that because researching those laws would either A) take too much time away from promoting “equality” in the form of Affirmative Action and other arenas of promoting reliance on the government instead of self, or B) cause a re-examination of beliefs that would get one shunned from the academic world, the lecturer won’t even bother to investigate.

Liberalism, in today’s world, is for the lazy, by the elite who haven’t earned their status.

ahhh professors. Those who can, do. Those who can’t, go for tenure so they don’t have to have the real world poke holes in their own little worlds.
