Our scanner is temperamental, at best. Perhaps he should get an iPhone now and just circumvent the frustration! Thanks for the hot tip! I used the iphone app for 2 checks so far. 1. Came back as account not available (its a check from work, I cash them all the time) and #2 claimed to be fine, but has NEVER showed up in my account, even though its cleared from the office checking account. Especially given their relative lack of nearby branches...I tend to wait longer than necessary to deposit checks because it's hard to justify a trip to the bank for just one check, but I receive checks rather infrequently. They pile up and get ignored until I have enough of them. Being able to take pictures and send them in would be awesome! Wow, I wish my bank would let me do that!
