Raise your hand if you’re a felon!

You’re (Probably) a Federal Criminal

(Hat-tip Oleg for the article.)

Read it and weep. Really.

I’d point out one line, though:

“With such a broad law, the second jury didn’t have much of a choice, and it convicted him.”

Clearly, more people need to be educated about jury nullification. Quick, fast, and in a hurry.

That, plus this:

nomoreusmc

And The Inconvenience’s decision not to go back into the USMC needs no further explanation.

For the record? I don’t think there’s any hope of fixing or rolling back of the federal government. There is only the reset button.

Of course, saying so is probably a felony.

as far as mentioning the reset button..
I kinda figure I’m on someones watch list somewhere for some of the things I’ve said in the last 2yrs so, *shrug* mea culpa, mea culpa, mea maxima culpa.

I’d like to think we aren’t there yet. If we can install some common sense grown-up types congress critters, maybe we can begin to steer this Titanic sized monstrosity back towards a center right course. I am truly scared that if that doesn’t happen, we’ll have a socio-economic collapse that would drive the world back into the dark ages.

Call me cynical and low minded, but I suspect we’re heading for that collapse as Warp Speed.

I’d like to think we aren’t either. But power corrupts, and absolute power corrupts absolutely. Send a common sense grown-up to congress, and eventually that person will be as bad as the ones that are there now. Term limits would be nice, and might solve that problem, if it wasn’t for the fact that it’s the corrupt pieces of garbage that would have to enact it. I hope the reset button isn’t necessary, but it’s looking more and more like it will have to be.

The Western Confederacy.

That is all.

Yep. But I’d have to fight my way out of Northern Virginia to get there (and my ammunition supply is dangerously low). Luckily, there are a lot of West Virginians nearby that would probably help…

Reset. Yes.
Trying to find anyone whom wants to be involved with politics and run for office has to be suspect. Seems they all come up with a hidden agenda or some group, person starts pulling their strings.
We need reset back to the Constitution as it was written and “We the People” need to do a lot better job of holding our elected representatives accountable and that includes booting their asses out of office!!

The western Confederacy, that has a nice ring to it. And yes, the only way out of this one is option #2.

Oh. My. God

Orwellian does not begin to describe this.

I have a very good friend involved with a militia in North Carolina based on the premise that the country is going to Hell rather quickly. Her firearms collection is…impressive.(All I have is an SKS moded to take regular AK mags and a Tommy Gun)

I have been sceptical of 9/11 “truther” stuff( I still am) and not really hip to training in the NC woods for the next revolution. What I can’t do at this point is say it’s all paranoia. We have a very, very large problem here, and the National security State seems to be a permanent fixture.

Piss off a cop? Enjoy your pepper spray and tazing…if you are lucky enough to not get shot.

Campaign worker for Ron Paul carrying cash contributions in the airport? Don’t even thinkabout asking for your legal rights.

When did being a conservative turn into being an apologist for turning our country into a police state, btw?

Just wondering.
