I had a girl friend some years ago that had problems with the two handed "combat" stance (for the same reason) so she asked if she could just shoot with one hand. We all said sure, but your accuracy will most likely suffer. She hadn't been shooting very long and didn't quite understand until she tried it. She wouldn't touch a 9mm, she said they were "ladies" guns, so she had been shooting with a .45. She did ok, but admitted that it was a little too much gun for one handed shooting (for her at least). She never got really good at shooting pistols. But she could handle a long gun with the best of us. Quite a good friend and sport. I miss her. Papa Ray West Texas Hello.
