By the way…

Abigail pulls herself up to standing, now. Seriously.

Picture taken at 5 months and 18 days.

I’m going to go ahead and give up on reading about normal infant development, because this kid ain’t normal.

(Though: This bodes well for early operation of the .22 though, now doesn’t it!)

There is no such thing as a “normal” child.

Awwwwwww!

Some kids do pull themselves up at 5 months. My niece was *walking* at 7 months (and running a week later). Now, I’m told it’s good for their overall development to learn to crawl — it helps with coordination. But unless there is a condition that contraindicates early walking (Corpus Callosum issues being one example), then as long as they’re working on the crawling I gather it’s okay to start walking as soon as their legs will hold ‘em up.

Oh, don’t worry, she has crawling down pat. She started doing that at about 4.5 months.

Beautiful eyes. Only 34.5 years till we can vote her in as President.

Actually I withdraw that nobody should want to be President. Wanting to be President should rule you immediately.

Still beautiful eyes.

Thank you, and I agree – I sure hope she doesn’t turn out that bad! ;)

“Having taken out the knit horsey with the yellow hunting club, the natural huntress prepares to pack her prize for the long crawl.”

And now the exploring begins! What a cutie.
