I am forcing myself, already in the ’socialist’ state of California, to remain optimistic until the man begins destroying that which we hold dear. I am optimistic that my assumptions surrounding his projections of change were simply sweet nothings in the ears of the masses, or perhaps merely beyond his ability to enact. But, this election does represent a sure sign that freedom in America is no longer held to the same understanding it has for the previous centuries; we are a dying breed as society becomes more metropolitan and feeds its Oedipal lust to become Europe. History may have been made this night, but the founding fathers undoubtedly shudder in their graves as we come together to elect a leader espousing European Socialistic ideals.
I’m more concerned about the countrymen who voted him in than the man himself. I don’t think it will possible for him to get everything he’s promised accomplished. It’s that people voted for him in the hope he could that disturbs me.

You’re assuming you’ll be able to by guns and ammo; between Obama, Pelosi, Reid, and Feinstein, you may not have that option.

Eh we had Clinton and a Dem Congress for 2 years and nothing bad happened. Obama’s gonna be too distracted cleaning up after Bush to do much.
I think it’s time to go back to the Republican Party for 2010. I’d like a nice, long government shutdown again :)
